Values and Conduct for Students
- Students are expected to speak in English in the school premises & school bus.
- Pupils must reach the school before 9.00 a.m. Latecomers should meet the Principal and get signed in the allotted page in their diary. They must not leave the school without the permission of the class teacher or the principal.
- Discourtesy towards teachers or any non-teaching staff will incur severe disciplinary action.
- The minimum attendance required by a student to appear for the annual examination is 80%
- Every student should bring the school handbook to the class without fail. If it is lost, the student will have to buy a new one immediately.
- Playing and shouting in the classroom is strictly prohibited. Any damage to the school property or that of other students will have to be compensated.
- Students should maintain a queue while in the school premises
- Pupils are not allowed to distribute sweets and enter other classrooms.
- Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours.
- Excessive money, expensive and fancy stationary, electronic gadgets, playing cards, toys, tattoos, CDs, pendrives, chips, mobile phones, cameras, video games, chewing gum, sharp edged instruments, periodicals etc. should not be brought to the school without the permission of teachers. If found, strict disciplinary action will be taken.
- Each pupil is responsible for the safe custody of his / her belongings. All the personal articles including books should be kept neat and labelled. The School is not responsible for the lose of any of their belongings.
- A clean and healthy environment will nurture a clean and healthy mind. So keep your surroundings clean. Try to avoid bringing plastic bags to school. Scribbling on walls and furniture is strictly prohibited.
- School socks, School belt, School tie and ID card are part of the uniform for all the students
- School shoes are mandatory for all the students. As a part of uniform only black sandals will be allowed during monsoon.
- Vest for the boys and slips / tights for the girls are mandatory. Girls pinafore and skirt should be up to the knee length.
- Only a small ear stud will be allowed for girls. No fancy hair cuts are allowed. No hair clips or fancy bands are allowed. Only Navy hair cut for Boys. Pony tail is compulsory for girls.
- Uniform pants should be stitched properly. (Narrow pants, low waist etc. are not allowed)
- A student who receives two or more warning will not be eligible to receive the proficiency award or any other awards.
- Students will be given different topics in English, during assembly to improve their fluency in English speaking .
