ST. CHAVARA KURIAKOSE ELIAS

St. Euphrasia Eluvathingal, lovingly known as Mother Euphrasia, was a devoted nun from Kerala who dedicated her entire life to prayer, service, and helping those in need. Born as Rosa Eluvathingal in 1877, she joined the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel and became widely respected for her strong faith, humility, and kindness. From a young age, she showed great love for God and cared deeply for the poor, the sick, and the suffering.

Throughout her life, Mother Euphrasia guided many people spiritually through her prayers, gentle words, and compassionate actions. She lived a simple and peaceful life, spreading love, hope, and comfort wherever she went. Her dedication to serving others and her unwavering trust in God made her an inspiration to many people. Today, she is remembered as a symbol of faith, peace, and selfless service.
