Our Founder
St. Chavara Kuriakose Elias who was a social revolutionist as well as educational reformist, is the founder of CMC and CMI missionary institutes, in our society. he was born in a small village in Keala. From childhood onwards he had dedicated to God and his intentions. He was a man with vision and foresight about education especially of women and children. His ideas about education was far in advance of his time. He was the first who started a printing press in Kerala ......
St. Euphrasia
St. Euphrasia Eluvathingal, lovingly known as Mother Euphrasia, was a holy nun from Kerala who dedicated her life to prayer, service, and helping others. Born as Rosa Eluvathingal in 1877, she joined the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel and became known for her deep faith, humility, and compassion toward the poor and sick. She spent her life guiding people spiritually and spreading love and peace through her simple life.
