From childhood onwards he had dedicated to God and his intentions. He was a man with vision and foresight about education especially of women and children. His ideas about education was far in advance of his time. He was the first who started a printing press in Kerala State as a step towards progress.\n\nServe the humanity for the love of God, divesting all the worldly pleasures was St. Chavara Kuriakose Elias motto.
